X+4/7 = 5/7 // - 5/7
X+4/7-(5/7) = 0
X+4/7-5/7 = 0
X-1/7 = 0 // + 1/7
X = 1/7
X = 1/7

x + 4/7 = 5/7
What we're basically doing is getting x by itself, so we have to subtract 4/7 from both sides.
x = 5/7 - 4/7
Simplify.
x = 1/7
~Hope I helped!~
