40 students are in the science club. Of those, 45% are girls. This percent increases to 56% after new girls join the club. How many new girls join?

I pretty sure 17 because if you count up to 56 it is 17

All i know is that there are 18 girls in the first place. Idk how to form the next eequation because i always overhthink it and confuse myself. but if it increases by 56%, rememebr there are 12%increase more girls.keep it in mind.
