The Area of a trapezoid = (B+b)xH/2 (B,largest parallel, b,smallest, H, the height)The area of a rectangle = LxW

In the figure we have:

a) 2 trapezoids (1 in the front & 1 in the back & they are equal)
Area of each (19+7)x8/2 ==> 104 cm² & for the two, 208 cm²

b) 2 rectangles (1 top & 1 bottom - the base-)
Top= 7x4 =28 cm²., base = 19x4 =76 cm² ==> 28+76==> 104 cm²

c) 2 rectangles (1 on the left & 1 on the right)
Right = Left =4x10 = 40 cm² ==> for the two 80cm²
TOTAL SURFACE AREA=208+104+80 =392 cm²
