A repairman charged $93.06. The price included two hours of labor and a $40 service charge. How much does the repairman charge per hour for labor?

So we know that the cost for two hours of labor = $93.06 and the service charge = $40.
So, what you would then have to do would be substract $93.06-$40 to get the cost for 2 hours, which equals $53.06.
Then, divide $53.06 by 2 (since you are trying to find the cost of one hour of labor.)
$53.06/2 = $26.53. Therefore, one hour of labor would cost $26.53
