if x be one angle then its complementary angle = 90-x
therefore we can write the equation:-
x - (90- x) = 84.8
2x -90 = 84.8
2x = 174.8
x = 174.8 / 2 = 87.4 degrees
and its complement = 90 - 87.4 = 2.6 degrees
