Label the following graphs as direct, inverse, or neither. I know that Graph C is not direct, because the line does not pass through the origin; I also believe that it is not inverse, because the line is linear, & I am pretty sure that inverse ones do not form a straight(linear) line, so I believe that that Graph C is "neither". But as for Graph A & B, I am still not sure. Can you please give me insight about Graph A & B, and tell me if I am correct about Graph C? Thanks!

STEP 1: Define graphs of direct and inversely proportional

STEP 2: Determine the nature of the graphs

Graph A is not a straight line which makes it not direct. Also, it touches the x and y axes which also makes it not inverse. Hence, it is neither.

Graph B is touching the y-axis which makes it not inverse, also, it is not a straight line. Therefore, it is neither.

Graph C is a straight line but does not satisfy the second condition which states that it must pass through the origin, therefore it is not direct. To check for inverse, the graph cuts through the y axis and the x axis making it not inverse. Therefore, this graph is also neither.
