A and B are both wrong Because if he paid 100 for each ticket he would use multiplication not division.
Well the problem says the expression describes the amount he paid for each ticket so basically the equation is
cost of a ticket = 100/w
That means w must equal the amount of tickets he bought meaning D is the answer.
