Answer: Value of angle M i.e. ∠M is 80° .

Explanation:

Since we have given that

MNOL is a parallelogram and we know that opposite angles are equal .

So, According to question, we have

3x+40=5x\\\\40=5x-3x\\\\40=2x\\\\(40)/(2)=x\\\\20=x

So,\ \angle N= 5x=5* 20=100\textdegree

Similarly,

\angle L= 3x+40=3* 20+40=60+40=100\textdegree

Now, we know that "Interior angle on the same side of the transversal is supplementary ":

\angle M+\angle N=180\textdegree\\\\\angle M+100\textdegree=180\textdegree\\\\\angle M=180\textdegree-100\textdegree\\\\\angle M=80\textdegree

Hence, value of angle M i.e. ∠M is 80° .
