HELP ME PLEASE
In two or more complete sentences, compare the number of x-intercepts in the graph of f(x) =x2 to the number of x-intercepts in the graph of g(x) = x2 +2. Be sure to include the transformations that occurred between the parent function f(x) and its image g(x).

The graph x2 only has 1 x-intercept, because it is directly on the origin.
The graph x2+2 is the parent function shifted up by 2 units. Since the lowest point is (0,2) and the graph points up, it has no x-intercepts.
