For these kinds of question, multiplication is the best way to go! Or even drawing a picture is helpful.
What's 12 cups x (3/4 cup for each pizza crust)?

This would be a division problem. We need to divide the 12 cups into 3/4 cup individual serving.
12/(3/4) =
12 * (4/3) =
48/3 = 16
You can make 16 pizzas.
