Step-by-step explanation:

Interference: It is the phenomenon in which there is a superposition of the waves occur to form a resultant wave. The interference can be : Destructive and constructive depending on the amplitude of the resulting wave.

The amplitude of the resulting wave can be maximum and minimum.

When the amplitude of the resulting wave is minimum then the destructive interference will occur in this case. When the amplitude of the resulting wave is maximum then the constructive interference will occur.

Therefore, when two light waves travelling from the same direction of displacement meet then interference will occur.

Wave interference is the phenomenon that occurs when two waves meet while traveling along the same medium. The interference of waves causes the medium to take on a shape that results from the net effect of the two individual waves upon the particles of the medium.

Hope this helps!
