We have the following:

\begin{gathered} f(x)=2x^2-3 \\ g(x)=-4x+3 \end{gathered}

replacing

f (-5) and g (-5)

\begin{gathered} f(-5)=2\cdot(-5)^2-3=2\cdot25-3=50-3=47 \\ g(5)=-4\cdot5+3=-20+3=-17 \end{gathered}

1. 47

2. - 17
