It should appear after the author's last and first name and in italics.

ex: Jones, Charles. On the Beach. Chicago: Squire Books, 1984. Print.

MLA (Modern Language Association) is a formatting style for academic texts, mostly used in Language and Literature studies, although lately also very common in all of the Humanities fields, that, amongst other details, allows you to structure your bibliography or works cited page in a standardized way. A book title should appear as follows:

Last Name, First Name. Book Title. City of Publication: Publisher, Year of Publication. Print.
