Why was the Indian Removal Act considered to be controversial?

The Act was false information. In other words: IT WAS WRONG!!!!!!

Well Because it was morally wrong. Many Americans stood against the removal, detention, murder and mistreatment of the 'Indians' by the Act.... these Americans who stood.... were defeated in politics and battle.
