So, in a 30, 60, 90, triangle the angle across from 90 is 2x
so 2x=16

Across from the 30 is x
and across from 60 is x√3

So we can now solve for x and y

Across form Y is the 30° angle, which is simply x, so we know 16=2x, and with a bit of algebra we can solve for x
x=8

So y=8

Now to solve for x, x is across from the 60° angle, so the equation to solve for x is, x√3

we can then plug x into the equation, which gets us the value 8√3

So x=8√3

So this is a 30 60 90 triangle, So the triangle is set up like 1
\sqrt{3 2(In accordance with the 30 60 and 90). So now divide the 16 by 2 to get the Y, which is 8. Now, to get the X you have to multiply the 8 by
\sqrt{3, so X = 8
\sqrt{3

Hope this helps!
