a) Speed = distance/time

From the information given,

Distance = 3.75

time = 0.3

Thus, her speed would be

Speed = 3.75/0.3 = 12.5 miles per hour

b) Given that

Distance = 4.5 miles

Speed = 12.5 miles per hour,

Time = distance/speed = 4.5/12.5

Time = 0.36 hours

It will take her 0.36 hours to go 4.5 miles
