There are 4 polygon area formulas. (see attached)
We'll use this one:
area = n*side^2 / 4 * tan(180/n)
where "n" is the number of sides
area = 6*4^2 / 4 * tan(180/6)
area = 96 / 4 * tan (30)
area = 96 / 4 * 0.57735
area = 41.569 square meters
