Tanisha earns $10 an hour at her job.

Let us examine each graph.

GRAPH A

As the number of hours (in the x axis) increases from 0 to 10 , the amount of earnings (in the y axis) did not change.

This graph do not represent the amount of money that Tanisha earn for any number of hours since we expect the earnings to increase also with time.

GRAPH B

Notice that as the number of hours (in the x axis) increases from 0 to 10 , the amount of earnings (in the y axis) increases from 10 to 90

Also, this graph do not represent the amount of money that Tanisha earn for any number of hours since at time 0 Tanisha already earned $10. We expect her earning to start from 0 and that she will only receive $10 after 1 hour,

GRAPH C

Notice that as the number of hours (in the x axis) increases from 0 to 10 , the amount of earnings (in the y axis) increases from 0 to 100

This graph represents the amount of money that Tanisha earn for any number of hours since her earning started to increase from $0 at time 0hr up to $100 at time 10hrs with an increment of $10 per hour , which is Tanisha's earning rate.

GRAPH D

Notice that as the number of hours (in the x axis) increases from 0 to 10 , the amount of earnings (in the y axis) decreases from 100 to 0.

Also, this graph do not represent the amount of money that Tanisha earn for any number of hours since it represent the reverse, in which the amount of earnings decreases as the number of hours increases. This can represent a graph for spending.

ANSWER:

GRAPH C
