Richard took his time looking around for a tuxedo to wear to his sister's wedding. He found that buying a tuxedo would cost the same as renting one and he would own it. He bought a tuxedo for $250. He wore the tuxedo to his sister's wedding and when he was asked to be the "padrino" for his best friend's baby, he wore it again. What is the cost per wear of the tuxedo?

$125 per wear

1) Gathering the data

Bought a Tuxedo for $250

2) As Richard has used his Tuxedo 2 times then we can write this ratio on the numerator the price, and on the denominator how many times has he wore that.

(250)/(2)=125

3) So the cost per wear, was $125 per wear so far.
