Kristen heard that it is 82° Fahrenheit outside. She knows that F=95C+32F=95C+32 where FF represents the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit and CC represents the temperature in degrees Celsius. Which is closest to the temperature outside, in degrees Celsius?

Answer:

28

Explanation:

If you solve the problem you will end up getting 27.78 degrees Celcius

If you round that up you will end with 28.

Kristine heard that it is 82° Fahrenheit. We need to solve for the closest temperature in degrees Celsius.
Such as the formula is shown below:
F = 9/5C + 32
Finding the formula if C is unknown, we have:
C =( F - 32)/ 95
C = (82 -32)/(9/5)
C = 27.78 degrees Celcius
