Positive; you have a child to love and teach things.
Negative; you have more food to spend money on, gas money for school or sports, messes to clean up, money for clothes and toys, etc etc.

Positive is you have something to love, and they love you "if you treat them well". They can be your best friends, and well...you just love em!
Negative is more food to buy, and you have to buy stuff for the children
