1/5(x+2)+2x=6x-10
0.2x+0.4+2x=6x-10
2.2x+0.4=6x-10
10.4=3.8x
x=104/38 or 52/19. Hope it help!

add 6x on both sides
1/5(x+2)+2x+6x=-10
now distribute 1/2
1/2x+1+2x+6x=-10
now you can subtract 1 on both sides
1/2x+2x+6x=-11
now add 1/2x, 2x, and 6x together
8.5x=-11
now divide 8.5 on both sides
x=1.29
