Well for each coin flip it decreases by 50%. Therefore 3 coin flips would leave a 12.5% chance of getting 3 heads

The chance on flipping heads once is 1/2
so to get your answer all you have to do is multiply 1/2 by its self 3 times
(1/2)(1/2)(1/2)=1/8 or 0.125
