we know that

the vertex of the original function h(x)=3|x+1|−2 is

(-1,-2)

so

If the translation is 2 units to the left

then

the rule of the translation is

(x,y) ----> (x-2,y)

and the new vertex is

(-1,-2) ----> (-1-2,-2) -----> (-3,-2)

therefore

the new equation is

g(x)=3|x+3|−2

the answer is option A
