Ingestion ;the process of taking food, drink, or another substance into the body by swallowing or absorbing it.
Digestion: the process of breaking down food by mechanical and enzymatic action in the alimentary canal into substances that can be used by the body.
Breakdown :
the chemical or physical decomposition of something.
Excretion :
the process of eliminating or expelling waste matter.

The food is chewed in the mouth. Then it travels down the esophagus into the stomach. From there it goes into the small intestine, then the large intestine and, finally, exits the body through the anus.
