The answer is B: Companies entice their customers with great sale prices.

To entice means to attract somebody by artful means, even if the means are not necessarily ethical. In this case, it is customary for companies to attract people and convince them to buy their products by advertising bargains or good sale prices. Another way to put it is that, to entice, means to motivate someone into doing something that, without the motivator in place, would not be done.
