18x + 30 = 12x -6
-12x. -12x
minus 12x from both sides.
6x + 30 = -6
-30. -30
minus 30 from both sides.
6x = -36
divide -36 by 6
-36/6 = -6
x= -6

Balance the equation.
6x + 30 = -6
Get 6x by itself
6x = -36
Divide by 6
x = -6
