The answer is 6. The perimeter is 1.47 meters, if each piece is 25 cm long then you would need 4 to make 1 meter. you would need 2 more and have 3 cm spare to completely go around

Paula needs a total of 1.47 meters of ribbon to cover the entire perimeter of her painting.
Each piece of ribbon is 25 centimeters long.
To find how many pieces Paula needs, convert the meters to centimeters and divide.
1.47 meters = 147 centimeters
Paula needs 147 centimeters of ribbon.
Divided 147 by 25 to find how many 25 cm long pieces of ribbon Paula needs.
147 / 25 = 5.88

Paula needs 5.88 pieces of ribbon.
Since you can't buy just 0.88 piece of a ribbon, you need to buy a full one and just be left with some leftovers, like remainders.
This means Paula needs 6 ribbon pieces.

Hope this helps!
