The correct answer is B) give the governors more power than anyone representative.

Framers of many state constitutions were careful not to give the governors more power than anyone representative.

They took into consideration the same thing that the framers of the United States Constitution, in that the did not want to give all the power to one branch and have an unbalance of powers. The concept of checks and balances also applied to the states. Neither the Executive branch or the Legislative no the judicial had to be over the others.
