What is the value of the numberical expression 5/8 - 5/12 (3 - 1/4) + 2/3? show work

first u subtract 2 3/3- 1/4 or 3-1/4 which is 2 3/4 then u add 2 3/4 with 2/3 which is 3 5/12 lastly u subtract  5/8 and 5/12 which is 5/24 then u add 3 5/12 and 5/24 which is ur answer 3 15/24 ur welcome !!!! HOPE THIS HELPED :)!!!!

5/8 -5/12 (3-1/4) + 2/3
First you want to distribute the 5/12.
5/8-(1.25-5/48) + 2/3
Next do what is in parenthesis.
5/8-(7/48) +2/3
Now do 5/8-7/48
That equals 23/48.
23/48 + 2/3= 1 and 7/48.
