Absolute and Percentage Change
The absolute change is the difference between the final value and the initial value.
The percentage change is the same difference related to the initial value.
We know the initial value was 260. The final value was 637.
* The absolute change is the difference between those values:
Abs Change = 637 - 260 = 377
* The percentage change is the division of 377 by the original value:
Pct Change = 377 / 260 * 100%
Pct Change = 145%
We can say the initial value increased by 145%
