The dimensions of the small rectangle is 2 ft buy 12 ft.

Since we know that the scale factor of dilation is the ratio of the corresponding sides of the image to the pre-image

The scale factor (k) of dilation is given by :-


k=\frac{\text{Width of big rectangle}}{\text{Width of small rectangle}}\\\\\Rightarrow\ k=(5)/(2)

Now, the length of the big rectangle is given by :-
