Sam raked 3 bags of leaves in 16 minutes. If he continues to rake at the same rate, about how long would it take him to rake 5 bags of leaves? Please note that this is a Proportional reasoning question. ( __ = __) If you could I need the ork too.

3/16 =5/x

Cross Multiply

3x = 80

x = 26 - 27 minutes

If you divide 16 by 3, you get 5.333 (repeated). Since it doesn't need to be an exact time, we can round to 5. So if you multiply the approximate time it took to rake 3 bags (5 minutes) and multiply it by 5 bags, you get approximately 25 minutes.

I hope I could help.
