So the equation is (base *height)/2
In this case: 12*17= 204
204/2=102 in^3
I hope I lead you to the right path. Im sorry if I am wrong.

Answer:

340 cubic inch

Explanation:

We are given the base, height and apothem of a triangular prism.

Apothem means the height of the base of the prism

Base=12 inches

Height=17 inches

Apothem=10 inches

Volume of triangular prism=(Area of Base x Height) ÷ 3

Area of base= (Base×Apothem)÷2=12×10÷2

= 60 sq. in.

Volume=(60×17)÷3

= 340 cubic inch.
