Given,

The length of the rolling paper is 200 cm.

The breadth of the rolling paper is 40 cm.

Required:

The area of the rolling paper.

The area of the rolling paper is,

\begin{gathered} Area\text{ = 40}*200 \\ =8000\text{ cm}^2 \end{gathered}

The area of the rolling paper in m^2 is,

\begin{gathered} Area=8000\text{ }(m^2)/(10000) \\ =0.8\text{ m}^2 \end{gathered}

Hence, the area of the rolling paper is 0.8m^2.
