On blue print , length of balcony is 1.75 inches

The actual length of balcony = 7 feet.

So, 1.75 inches = 7 feet

1 inch =
(7)/(1.75)

1 inch = 4 feet

Thus the scale is 1 inch = 4 feet.

On the blue print , the width of the balcony is 1 inch .

So, using scale the actual width = 4 feet

Now the formula of perimeter of rectangle =
2(l+w)

l =length

w = width

So, the perimeter of the balcony =
2(7+4)

=
2*11

=
22

Hence the perimeter of the balcony is 22 feet.
