An aqueous solution is that in which the solvent used is water. The salts formed by the reaction of a strong base and weak acid can be dissolved in water to form basic solution. Examples of these basic salts are NaF, NaCO3, etc.

The aqueous solutions of NaHS, KHCO3 and NaF has the ability to produce a basic solution. By definition, an aqueous is a type of solution in which its solvent is water. NaHS is Sodium hydrosulfide which is a reagent, KHCO3 is potassium bicarbonate used as a food ingredient, and sodium fluoride for teeth cavities.
