Realism is a part of Literature that has the purpose of representing things and experiences as they really are. The authors describe the normal everyday activities without any change to make them better. The three samples presented have those characteristics, which are perceived by some words in them, as "his body lay streched out"; "sorrowful look" ; "the bombs burting in air"; "cruelty so fiendish" and "butchery of the Christians Indians".
Idealism is more concerned with perception and images formed by the mind, imagination.
