Set watch back. And it would be set back by 2 hours. Denver is -7 and Alaska is -9

Traveling from Denver, Colorado to Anchorage, Alaska requires setting your watch back by 2 hours, to account for the time zone difference without involving the International Date Line.

If a person is traveling from Denver, Colorado to Anchorage, Alaska, they would set their watch back by 2 hours. Denver is in the Mountain Time Zone and Anchorage is in the Alaska Time Zone. Due to this time zone difference, when traveling northward to Anchorage from Denver, one would need to adjust their watch to reflect the change.

This does not involve crossing the International Date Line, which is relevant when traveling across the Pacific Ocean from west to east or vice versa and is responsible for changing the calendar day.
