The selling price of watch = $102

Loss on the watch = $55

Since, the expression for the Lost, Cost Price and selling price is :

Cost Price -Selling Price = Loss

Here we have, Selling Price =102, Loss =55

Substitute the value and solve for Cost Price

Cost Price -Selling Price = Loss

Cost Price -102=55

Cost Price =102+55

Cost Price =157

So, the cost price of the watch is 157

But it in the given statement they show that the cost price is 132

so, the statement is False.

Answer :

False
