Nestor foreshadows the suitors plot to kill Telemachus, because he tells Telemachus about the story of Agamemnon, and how loyalty faded away in his family. Nestor tells Telemachus that Agamemnon's brother was looking after his wife and the household. Eventually, Agamemnon's brother fell in love with his wife, Clytemnestra. After, Agamemnon returned from the Trojan war, Clytemnestra killed him. Clytemnestra's son Orestus also killed his own mother to take revenge for his father. This is how loyalty faded away in Agamemnon's family. Nestor feared that Loyalty in his family might disappear in Telemachus' family back in Ithaca as well. If Telemachus tries to return to Ithaca, the suitors might kill him.
