Here, we're given a point (x,y) where x is 1 and are asked to fing the corresponding value of y at that point where x = 1

Therefore, we have y - 14 = 2(1 +10)

y - 14 = 2(11) Adding 14 to both sides yield

y = 22 + 14

y = 36

Therefore, the value of y that makes (1,y) a solution of the given equation is 36.

(x,y) = (1,36)
