I) y + 2x = -1 Let's rewrite it as the slope-intercept form

y = -2x -1

Writing a t -table for that:

x | y=-2x-1

0 | -1

1 | -3

2 | -5

II) 3y -x = 4 Let's rewrite it as the slope-intercept form

3y = 4 +x Divide both sides by 3

y = 4/3 + x/3

Writing a table for that:

x | y = 4/3 +x3

0 | 1.33

1 | 1.66

2 | 2

2) As we have three coordinate points for each equation, we can locate them in the Coordinate Plane:

Notice that, the common point to those lines (the red one: 3y-x =4) and (blue: y+2x=-1)
