HELP ASAP
1.Graph the functions and approximate an x-value in which the exponential function surpasses the polynomial function. In your final answer, include a copy of the graph.
y = 2x^2 + 7
y = 5^(x-4)
2.For each function shown:
•Name the starting point.
•Explain how y changes as x increases.
Function #1: y = 0.5 + 3x
Function #2: y = 3(0.5)x
3.The points on the graph represent both an exponential function and a linear function.
a.Complete this table by reading the values from the graph. Estimate any function values that are less than one.
x -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3
Exponential function _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____
Linear function _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____ _____
b.At approximately what values of x do both the linear and exponential functions have the same value for y?

x = 10
y = 2(10)^2 + 7 = 207
y = 5^(10 - 4) = 15,625
Polynomial function: (0, 207)
Exponential function: (0, 15,625)
