Solution

We have the following expression given:

\log _7x+\log _7y-\log _7z

And we can rewrite this expression as:

\log _7(x\cdot y)-\log _7z=\log _7((xy)/(z))

He forgot to apply the properties of logarithms (Product and Quotient rule) properly

The correct answer simplified is:

\log _7((xy)/(z))
