f(x) = x + 2

g(x) = x - 4

(g•x) =?

a. 2x - 2

b. x² – 8

c. x^2 - 2x -8

d. x^2 + 2x - 8

we have that

(g•x) =g(x)*f(x)

substitute

(x-4)*(x+2)

apply distributive property

x^2+2x-4x-8

x^2-2x-8

therefore

the answer is the option C
