The spinner drawn to decide who is going to get the ball should be fair if each of them has the same probability when it is spun.

Taking into account that a circle has 360° and there are 3 boys, divide the 360° by the 3 boys to find which portion each of them must have.

(360)/(3)=120

Looking at the spinner we can see that Benito has 140° with his name, Andres 100° and Carlos the remaining which is 120°

Accordin to this information the spinner drawn is not fair since Benito has more probability so the spinner lands on his name when it has been spun. To make the spinner fair Benito's portion will have to be 20° smaller and Andres's must be 20° bigger in order for all of them to have equal probabilities.
