How do i solve 2 step equations for 9x-7=-7

Please help 2 teachers of mine already tried explaining and i did not get it.
If anyone can explain to me that would be helpful i don't need the answer i just need explanation please.

First of all, x=0.
To solve it, think about undoing the equation. You start with the operation that is performed last, which is, in this case, -7. You add 7 to get rid of it and are left with 9x=0. You then divide both sides of the equation by nine in order to reverse the operations. You are left with x=0. Ta-da.
