1/2(5-7x)=8-4x+6
-7/2x+5/2=-4x+14 Simplify both sides
1/2x+5/2=14 Add 4x to both sides
1/2x=23/3 Subtract 5/2 on both sides
2*(1/2x)=2*(23/2) Multiply both sides by 2
x=23 - Final Answer
