Your answer would be 234 in²

I split the shape into a trapezium at the top, and then a rectangle at the bottom.
The area of the rectangle would be 10 × 20, which is 200 in²

The area of the trapezium would be (a + b)/2 and then multiplied by height. A and B would be 14 and 20, so you get 34/2 = 17. The height of the trapezium is 12 - 10 = 2, so you multiply 17 by 2 and get 34 in².

200 + 34 = 234 in².
